πλέων See Or. 34 § 30. [πλέων καὶ κινδυνεύων, periculosa itinera suscipiens, are coupled together as πράττων and κινδυνεύων in Ol. 2 § 15 πράττων καὶ κινδυνεύων, periculosas res gerens. Hoeck, p. 23.]—εὐπορήσας δὲ, ‘and who has lent at interest his small profits in order to accommodate his friends, and that his money may not be imperceptibly frittered away.’ Kennedy. (More closely, ‘from a wish not only to oblige, but to prevent his money from slipping through his fingers without being aware of it.’)—εἰς ἐκείνους, why should he be classed with those others who τέχνην πεποίηνται?

σοὶ δανείσῃ κ.τ.λ. A very hard hit indeed.

τίς ἐγὼ κ.τ.λ. Here, as in Or. 39 § 25, τις = ποῖος.
