§§ 102—109. The orator de- fends his Trierarchic Law against the attacks of Aeschines. This important measure was enacted in 340 B.C., at about the time of the outbreak of the war with Philip (see § 107.6). For an account of the trierarchy at Athens, see Boeckh's Staatsh. d.
