5. καίτοι—here means and surely, not ‘and yet.’
δίκαιοί γ̓—the personal construction common with δίκαιος.
6. ἐκποδὼν στῆναι—neutrality is your best plan.
9. δι᾽ ἀνοκωχῆς ... ἐγένεσθε—cf. c. 73. 2 δι᾽ ὄχλου εἶναι. ἀνοκωχή is an armistice.
10. ὥστε ... δέχεσθαι explains τὸν νόμον.
