Paige, Hist. Camb. p. 410, names the Cambridge members of the company, all of whom he considers very likely were engaged in the battle of the 19th of April. June 21, 1775, the Committee of Safety recommended Stephen Frost, ensign in Capt. Locke's Company of Col. Gardner's Regiment, to the Honorable Congress for a commission; and in Provincial Congress, June 22, 1775, it was ordered that an ensign's commission be delivered to Mr. Stephen Frost, of Capt. Locke's Company in Col.
