He was prob. the Benjamin, laborer, and wife, who went from Cambridge to Charlestown, 1786. She was prob. the Anna, adm. to Pct. ch. 4 Apr. 1802. He resided at a point a few rods west of the bridge across the Wear in Mystic River, between Arlington and Medford, and letters he received were addressed ‘Charlestown,’ ‘Medford,’ ‘Menotomy,’ ‘Charlestown near the Wears Bridge,’ ‘Charlestown to be left at West Cambridge Post Office,’ and ‘West Cambridge.’ His house is not now extant. It was ‘large, three stories high, brick ends, four rooms on a floor, with an excellent cellar under the whole,’ and built about the end of the last century. The timber for same was ‘to ’
