[596] Prius, before doing anything else, οὐ φθάνοις ἂν σκοπῶν. ‘Aspicere,’ of paying attention to a thing, G. 4. 2. ‘Fessum aetate’ contains the same notion as “aevo gravior,” v. 435. ‘Ubi liqueris,’ where you left him; the real meaning being, where he, whom you left at home, may be now.
