[592] Aliter, the old reading, is in two of Ribbeck's cursives. Rom. combines both words, ‘alio ter.’ Probably the proximity of ‘Teucrum’ led to the variety, though Pal. and Gud. have ‘nati Teucrum.’ ‘Vestigia inpediunt,’ make entangled movements.
