instance; the force of δή is to heighten
the notion of indefiniteness which lies in ὁποία (so

ἔτι τοίνυν
κτλ. ἔτι goes with ἐρέσθαι. Socrates appeals thus to Ph. because Ph. had previously (194 D,
E) debarred him from catechizing A.
