post circumactum solslitium] s. Plut. 16, 7: θέρους ἦν ὥρα φθίνοντος. Diese allgemeine Zeitangabe, welche zu dem 37.8 bezeichneten Datum nicht ganz pafst, ist wohl Polybios entlehnt. Da Aemilius schon im Februar nach Griechenland gelangt ist, so müfste er, was man nach der Erzählung des L., obgleich dieselbe lückenhaft ist, kaum erwarten kann (vgl. 30.1.34, 10), besonders da 35, 3 im Vergleich mit 32.4 nur eine kurze Frist andeutet, schon gegen 5 Monate den Feinden gegenüber gestanden haben; vgl. auch 45.41.5. circumactum] s. § 10; 1, 19, 6: anno, qui solstitiali circumagitur orbe.
