ὅτι, as if “ποῖον χρησμὸν ἀκούσαντας” had preceded. Not with “δείσαντας”: verbs of fearing are sometimes followed by “ὡς” or “ὅπως” with indic. (instead of “μή” with subj.), as in El. 1309; but by “ὅτι” only as=“"because."

τῇδεχθονί, locative dat., not instrum. (as schol. “ὑπὸ ταύτης τῆς χθονός”). Oed. interprets Ismene's less explicit statement (411).
