ἔχε δή: a request to pause, whereby the point reached is declared to be an important one, which merits further consideration. Cf. Prot. 349 d ἔχε δὴ . . . ἄξιον γάρ τοι ἐπισκέψασθαι ὃ λέγεις. When thus used, ἔχειν is of course intransitive. H. 810.
ἤτοι . . . ἤ: or at least. In English we should naturally use γὲ with the second member. Cf. Apol. 27 d τοὺς δαίμονας ἤτοι θεούς γε ἡγούμεθα ἢ θεῶν παῖδας.— παρὰ σοῦ: const. with ὕστερον μαθόντα alone; πρότερον with εἰδέναι.
