εἰ: whether.

τιμᾷς: equiv. to καλὸν φῂς εἶναι or περὶ πολλοῦ ποιεῖ, as in Crito 47 a.

τὸ χαρίζεσθαι: pres. for the habit.

χαρίσασθαι: aor. for the single example.
