[358] καί κε τό. Here, as in sup. 111, the apodosis is introduced by καί. ‘I should indeed like this better,’ viz. “πλειοτέρῃ σὺν χειρὶ ἱκέσθαι”, for it was a bad thing to return “κενεὰς σὺν χεῖρας ἔχοντες” Od.10. 42.
