Schol. The Schol. thinks that the phrase “εἰς οἶκον”, instead of “πρὸς ἄστυ” or “πρὸς γαῖαν”, implies that Icarius was living in Ithaca. Aristotle ( De Poet.25. 26) quotes a form of the legend which made Icarius king of Cephallenia.
