[269] τοιοῦτον. The gender is uncertain, but probably masculine, as the relatival sentence is only a periphrasis for “Ὀδυσσεύς”. The sense of the words is “τοιοῦτόν [τινα] οἷος Ὀδ. ἔσκε”, but for “Ὀδ”. is substituted the equivalent “Ὀδυσσῆος φίλον κῆρ”. Compare “Πυλαιμένεος λάσιον κῆρ” Il.2. 851.
