Leather-wash′er.

Tools for cutting leatherwashers are on the principle of the trepan or the annular auger. The example shows one in which the cutters are both adjustable relatively to the center-pin, so as to cut a washer of any size with a hole of any size. The washers are cut by revolving or turning the tool upon the center-pin, in the material from which the washer is to be made. The tool is held in a brace.
