A loom for making goods the weft of which is of straw.
Each piece of filling is laid in separately, and looms of this character are made to work with
straw, slats, splints, wands, willows, cane, rattan, palm-leaf, splints, whalebone, and what not. See slat-weaving loom, page 2203.
