Wire-mark′--ing ma-chine′.

A machine used in measuring and marking off lengths of wire for hoop-skirts. The endless band carries dies for marking the wire as it is fed from a spool. The band is [2793] stretched over drums and under an ink-roller, and then passes between rollers, simultaneously with the wire to be marked.
