Shot-sort′er.

A frame with a series of sieves of different grades of fineness, to sort shot into various grades of size. The imperfect shot are separated by a series of inclines b c d with foot-troughs, over which the perfect shot are projected by their velocity, to be afterward assorted in a series of rotary screens of gradually increasing coarseness.
