Stamp-af-fix′er.

A device for attaching stamps to letters, etc.

Stamp-affixer.

It consists of a stand having an arm carrying the springpresser head a; a box b having an interior spiral spring pressing against the movable bottom of the stamp receptacle c, and a trough d, containing sponge or other absorbent.

The stamps, gummed side upward, are placed in the receptacle, successively moistened with a roller, and attached to the object, placed between them and the presser-head, by forcing the latter down.
