οὐ δέμας: not in build, prob. refers to her stature, as the Greeks always associated height and beauty, cf. “Γ 167, καλός τε μέγας τε Φ 108, καλῇ τε μεγάλῃ τε καὶ ἀγλαὰ ἔργα ἰδυίῃ ν 289, Τυδεὺς μικρὸς μὲν ἔην δέμας Ε” 801.οὐδὲ φυήν: has reference to her fair proportions. — With these two qualities of her person are contrasted by asyndeton two mental characteristics, neither in mind nor in accomplishments.
