[289] οὐκ ἐθέλωσιν: “οὐκ” is used, not “μή”, though in a cond. clause, since the neg. and verb form but one idea, are unwilling, refuse; cf.οὐ χραίσμῃ Α” 28.

Ἀλεξάνδροιο: prob. gen. abs.; although it could be construed with “τιμήν”, see § 3 f “β”.
