[388] τεῦ: Att. “τινός”, many a one's. The strap of the shield ran over the left shoulder and under the right arm, cf. “Ε 796, Ξ 404, Π 803, Σ 480, λ” 610. The shield was so heavy that it needed support from the body as well as from the arm.
