[63] ὀνειροπόλον: dream-seer. A dream-oracle is described by Vergil, Aen. vii. 86-91. — “καὶ γὰρ κτλ”.: for a dream also, as well as other signs.
γάρ τε: closely connected, like namque. ἐκ Διός: Zeus sends to Agamemnon (2.6) a dream that calls itself “Διὸς ἄγγελος”. Athena also sends a dream to Penelope (Od. 4.795).This text is part of:
