[135] δοῦρα: timbers, as “δόρυ νήιον ι” 384; for the form, see § 18 f.

σπάρτα: ropes, cables, of reeds or rushes. The ship's ropes in Od. 2.426 were of oxhide; a ship's cable at the home of Odysseus, Od. 21.391, was made of papyrus.

λέλυνται: plural verb with neut. subj., as v. 36, although “δοῦρα σέσηπε” has preceded.
