Mud—boat.

One for carrying off mud dredged from a river-channel or bar, and having convenient provision for discharge. In the example, the mudboat has several vats resting on two boats which are placed parallel and connected by timbers. The floors of the vats have sectional drops for discharge, and [1494] lever-catches which control their discharging functions.
