Slate-bev′el-ing ma-chine′.

A machine for beveling the edges of school or other slates.

The slate is held in the opening between the two adjustable guides E E′, its edge being presented to the two bevel-edged wheels C C′, which are rotated in opposite directions, so that their acting surfaces move in the same direction, by a crossed belt passing around the pulley B.
