A ring-handled forceps, from 4 to 7 inches in length, of various curves, slender blades, grooved and deeply serrated margins. It is used for extracting tumors and polypi, taking hold of them by their pedicles and twisting them until they come off. The cut represents one of a larger kind used for uterine polypi.
