Pho-to-graph′ic mi-crom′e-ter.

A system of opaque or transparent lines photographically reduced from a series of large and welldefined lines impressed mechanically or otherwise upon the object from which the photograph is taken, and placed in the focus of the eye-glass of a telescope or micrometer.
