Skiff.
(Nautical.) A small flat-bottomed boat, usually without a keel. In some parts of the United States, as the waters of the Chesapeake, the term is particularly applied to a small boat of this description, sharp at both ends, generally having a center-board, and provided with a small triangular sail.
