Rail-punch.

For punching the web of railway rails, etc. That shown at A is worked by hydraulic pressure, being a slight modification of the punching-bear (which see). B is operated by turning a screw, which causes the surfaces of an upper and a lower cam to roll in contact with each other, imparting a powerful pressure to the lower, which acts on the head of the punch.
