Disk-wheel.

This differs from the usual wormwheel in the mode of presenting the spiral to the cog-wheel. In the illustration the spiral thread on the face of the disk drives the spur-gear, moving it the distance of one tooth at each revolution. The shafts are at right angles to each other.
