For the use of this pron. to recall the main subst., cf. ἐγὼ μὲν οὖν βασιλέα ... οὐκ οἶδα ὅ τι δεῖ αὐτὸν ὀμόσαι An. ii.4.7 φῂς μέν: correlative to οὐκ ἐπιχειρεῖς, but δέ follows ἐπίστασθαι because this is placed first in the sentence.
