[64] Ἕκτοῤ = “Ἕκτορι”, as “ἐπαΐσσειν” takes the dat., “ΚίρκηιOd. 10.322, “μοιOd. 14.281, and cf. 15.579, 17.725. “τεῖχος, μόθον ἐπαῗξαι” (12.308, 7.240) seem rather different. προτί is used pregnantly with the acc., assailing Hector (till he came) even unto Ilios.
