[228] Eurymedon is Agamemnon's charioteer here only in H.; but the later tradition accepted the name, for Pausanias says that he was slain with Agamemnon. Eurymedon is also Nestor's charioteer, 8.114, 11.620. Cf. note on Eurybates, 1.320.
