475. meta/ with the genitive.

A singular subject combined with another word by “μετά” (“σύν”) rarely takes the plural.

Ἀλκιβιάδης ἐκ Σάρδεων μετὰ Μαντιθέου τοῦ ἁλόντος ἐν Καρίᾳ ἵππων εὐπορήσαντες νυκτὸς ἀπέδρασανεἰς Κλαζομενάς”, XEN. Hell. 1.1.10; Alcibiades and Mantitheus . . . ran off to Clazomenae.
