The reflexive relation may be brought out more clearly by adding the reflexive forms to the middle. “ὑπὸ νύκτα τὴν σωτηρίαν αὑτοῖς ἔμελλον πορίζεσθαι”, LYCURG.70; Under cover of the night they were about to provide safety for themselves.
