νεώτερον, not simply “νέον” (554), but ‘startling,’—ominous of some new wrong: cp. Thuc. 4. 51μηδὲν περὶ σφᾶς νεώτερον βουλεύσειν”.

ἀπ᾽ Ἀργείων with βούλευμα, not with “ἔχεις”,—a plot on their part: for this “ἀπό”, cp. O. C. 293.ἔχεις with μοι, ‘hast for me,’ i.e., announcest to me. Cp. Ant. 9 n.
