καταστάζοντα agrees with “υἱόν” (5): πόδα is acc. of respect: Ai. 9κάρα” | “στάζων ἱδρῶτι.

διαβόρῳ: Tr. 1084 τάλαινα διαβόρος νόσος” (the venom of the hydra). So below, 313βόσκων τὴν ἀδηφάγον νόσον”: 745βρύκομαι”. Aesch. fr. 253 (Philoctetes speaking) “φαγέδαιν᾽ ἀεί μου σάρκας ἐσθίει ποδός”: a v. which Euripides borrowed in his own Philoctetes, changing “σάρκας ἐσθίει” to “σάρκα θοινᾶται” ( Arist. Poet. 22).
