ἐλἐησον: cp. on 307 ff.

παρῇς σαυτοῦ βρ. ὄνειδος, allow men to have ground for reproaching thee: a poet. modification of the more usual constr., “παρῇς σεαυτὸν βροτοῖς ὀνειδίζειν” (as Plat. Phaedo 101C “παρεὶς ἀποκρίνασθαι τοῖς... σοφωτέροις”). So oft. “ὄνειδος καταλείπειν.

ἐκκλέψας=“ἐξαπατήσας”, as in 55 (n.): not, ‘having stolen me out of Lemnos.’
