ταύτην, i.e. by making expeditions in quest of food,—referring to 162 f. Others take it to mean, ‘in the following manner,’—viz., “θηροβολοῦντα”. This is possible ( O. C. 787): but then we should expect “θηροβολεῖν.” φύσιν=“τρόπον.”
