ὑπόχειρ (Musgrave's correction of “ὑπὸ χεῖρα”) is not elsewhere extant, but is correctly formed (cp. “ἐπίχειρ, ἀντίχειρ”), and is placed beyond reasonable doubt by the metre (= 1084 “νώνυμος, ὦ παῖ παῖ”). “ὑποχείριος” is frequent in this sense.
