γενέθλα (fem. sing.), as 226: but “γένεθλα” (neut. pl.) O. T. 180. γενναίων, in disposition (cp. O. C. 1636). παραμύθ- ιον might be nomin. in appos. with the subject of the verb, but is better taken as acc. in appos. with the sentence: cp. 564 (“ποινὰς”), 966 (“πημονὴν”): O. T. 603(n.): Eur. Or. 1105“Ἑλένην κτάνωμεν, Μενελέῳ λύπην πικράν”.
