παραμύθ- ιον might be nomin. in appos. with the subject of the verb, but is better taken as acc. in appos. with the sentence: cp. 564 (“ποινὰς”), 966 (“πημονὴν”): O. T. 603(n.): Eur. Or. 1105Ἑλένην κτάνωμεν, Μενελέῳ λύπην πικράν”.
