τελοῦς ἀραί, ‘are doing their work.’ “τελοῦσι” is transitive, though the object (“τὸ ἔργον”) is not expressed. Cp. Tr. 825 n. οἱ … κείμενοι, Agamemnon: for the plur. (like “οἱ..θανόντες”, 1421), cp. 146 “γονέων”, n. ὑπαὶ: 711 n.
