This adverbial “τι” is frequent in such expressions of diffidence: Ph. 1279“εἰ μἡ τι πρὸς καιρὸν λέγων” | “κυρῶ”: Tr. 586“εἴ τι μὴ δοκῶ” | “πράσσειν μάταιον”: ib. 712 “εἴ τι μὴ ψευσθήσομαι” | “γνώμης.” καιροῦ τυγχάνω: cp. Legg. 687 A “πῶς...τοῦ καιροῦ ἂν...ἔτυχον”; Pind. N. 8. 4“καιροῦ μὴ πλαναθέντα.” μεθάρμοσον: “ἐπανόρθωσον” schol.
