ἀβούλου, inconsiderate, — not taking proper thought for his children; cp. Tr. 139τίς ὧδε” | “τέκνοισι Ζῆν᾽ ἄβουλον εἶδεν;

κακοῦ γνώμην, perverse,— in choosing to sacrifice his own offspring, rather than another's. There is a bitter irony in this mode of characterising what she regards as unnatural cruelty.
