ἐνταῦθα properly refers to “ἐμβαλεῖν” (1197), but, since the inf. is so long delayed, is more conveniently taken with ἐξάραντα, in the sense of “ἐνταυθοῖ”: cp. El.380“ἐνταῦθα πέμψειν”. For the sense of “ἐξάραντα”, cp. 799 “ἆρον ἔξω”.
