ὅπως ἂν depends on the notion of “ἐπιμελοῦ” contained in “φύλασσε νόμον”.— If Lichas acts in the interest of his master only (cp. 286πιστὸς ὢν κείνῳ”), the χάρις won by him will be ἁπλῆ: if he regards the welfare of his mistress also, it will become διπλῆ. The genitives κείνου τε κἀμοῦ (of which the second has the chief stress)=‘from him and me’: hence ξυνελθοῦς᾿.
