τῇδε, sc.τῇ πράξει”: τοῦτο, sc.τὸ <*> χαίρειν.—συντρέχειν”, coincide with, be combined with: for this sense of the zerb, cp. n. on O. C.158 ff.—Not (as <*>ood), ‘Such joy must needs accompany [the event] in this way (“τῇδε”).’

The rejection of this verse (see cr. n.) would be deplorable. Deianeira rejoices, but <*>ls a certain sadness, and knows that she cannot help showing it; all the more she wishes to assure them how real her joy is.
