νῦν σοι τέρψις ἐμφανὴς κυρεῖ, now thy joy is manifest, i.e., is assured beyond all doubt (cp. 223 f.).

τῶν μὲν, the herald and the captives: τὰ δὲ, the news that Heracles will soon return. For the gen. absol. co-ordinated with a partic. in another case, cp. O. C.737 n.
